Magificent scenery, solitude, great hatches and no crowds is what attracts anglers to Wyoming. The other attraction that goes unmentioned, but which has become quite popular with North Fork Anglers guided trip friends is the Cutt-Slam.

What is the Cutt-Slam? Simply, the Cutt-Slam is a program designed to encourage anglers to learn more about Wyoming's cutthroat sub-species and develop more appreciation and support of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's cutthroat management program.

North Fork Anglers in Cody and Two Rivers Emporium Outfitter in Pinedale are proud to partner with each other to offer anglers the opportunity to catch Yellowstone, Snake River, Bonneville and Colorado Cutthroat in their native waters. Between the two fly shops, there are miles and miles of water waiting for goal-oriented anglers to accomplish the Cutt-Slam.

Tim Wade of North Fork Anglers and Mike Kaul of Two Rivers Emporium Outfitters have put together a guided trip itinerary that will insure our guests a fun way to explore Wyoming trout waters while pursuing the Cutt-Slam.

What you do: Catch Wyoming's four cutthroat sub-species in their native range in Wyoming.

I. Present a clear photo to a Wyoming Game and Fish fisheries biologist for species verification.

II. Provide information on date and location of catch.

What we do:

I. We will keep records for each entry. We will mail proof and verification of your catch to the Wyoming Game and Fish.

II. Upon successfully catching all four sub-species, the Wyoming Game and Fish will send you a color certificate featuring all four sub-species recognizing your accomplishment.
